Words Of Weakness

Thank you for the comments and messages that were sent my way yesterday.  I had several people read what I wrote yesterday, then tell me that they've all felt the same way.  Ladies, to know that I'm not alone in that feeling is so good.  Thank you.

It's true what they say (whoever they are): There is strength in sharing our weaknesses.  There is strength in sharing our weaknesses.  There is strength in sharing our weaknesses.  A-to-the-men!  Thank you to the ladies who shared with me.

It's definitely helped color my day with my children today.  I'm so grateful for my time with them, even when it's challenging.  These kids are gems, and I treasure them.

  1. The thing that always shines through in your blog posts and the reason I keep coming back despite the fact that my kids are so much older is that you genuinely enjoy and appreciate your life. I found myself reflecting on your post a lot after I read and commented and I was so grateful that you shared that sometimes it all gets to be too much and you need to reconnect with yourself. That is such an important thing to share with other moms. We can love and appreciate our kids and thank God for our life, but sometimes we still need time for ourselves. Thanks again for sharing!

    1. Wow, Theresa, those are good words for sure. I might print them out and put them in my diary. Thank you for your encouragement. Writing that post was so freeing. Things have really turned around since then.

  2. "Strength in sharing our weaknesses." Wow. It's hard to be vulnerable, and humble ourselves. At one time I didn't think it was a good thing; now I'm slowly reconsidering. Thanks for sharing. I really, really appreciated you post the other day.

  3. I love your honest posts. in my mind I call them "naked posts" bc you let it all out-the good, the bad, and the ugly. those are always good to read. everybody's naked underneath and we all criticize ourselves for those spots that could use a little help. it's nice to know we're all in the same boat.
