July 1, we decided to give Burl some solid food. We didn't have any of the cereal that newborns usually get, so we decided to mash up a sweet peach. He loved it!

We each got a chance to feed him. If you're wondering, we don't have any baby silverware on hand, so we improvised. I knew those tiny spatulas would prove useful.
a monogrammed bib!! ha! how did i miss this before? can you believe how little he was? he had the best baby cheeks (jowls) ever.
