Somewhere I read or saw or heard that spending time by moving water (potties and the kitchen sink do NOT count. trust me, I tried) lowers stress. Or something like that.
Examples: beach, creeks, rivers, and WATERFALLS.
Need to relax? Find a creek, ocean, waterfall and park yourself there for a little bit and feel life and happiness and peace just sink right in. Whoa. It's good.
The shirtless one is my brother Joseph and he's pretty good at climbing. Like really good. He got John hooked. This weekend everything worked out for a day climbing trip.
I was in need of a heavy dose of mother nature, so I tagged along. My friend (100% all beef) Patty came as well. I made the brownies, read my book and enjoyed the show. They climbed.
I grabbed these pictures of my brother doing some crazy hard stuff.
(Don't worry, Ellavene, John doesn't do that stuff. Well, not yet at least.)

It was a lot of fun. The weather was amazing. Just perfect.
Being outside that long with nothing man made in sight really does this girl good!

Pair mother nature with some good company, and I was feeling pretty high.
(By this picture, can you tell which is the crazy one in our relationship?)

We're going to have to do this again!

ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing - both in beauty and the ability to climb. Glad to hear that being outdoors and the great company blew the cobwebs away! x
