The Grey Ruffle

At
this point, no shirt is safe.  When I read
this post on Design Intervention, I knew that I had to do the same.  (For the record, this girl does these "deployment projects" in order to occupy her time and energy while her husband is serving over seas.  She does some pretty amazing stuff with her sewing machine.  Also, enjoy that Independence, America!)

Her post had directions, but I needed to get some clarification.  I emailed her, and she emailed me back promptly, which I really appreciate.

I took one of my many ribbed tanks and one of my husband's t-shirts and did my own version.  I'm pretty pumped.  I even made some for a couple of friends.

  1. Holy cow, that is seriously cute!!! You are on fire! I'm still working on the first ruffle shirt you posted but am bound and determined to finish it today so that I can wear it for tonight's fireworks :)

We need to have a sewing party this week!
