I thought that it would be hard. I thought that I would cry. I thought that I would be sad. I was wrong.
He's one year old and I think it's the coolest thing ever. I just so dang proud of him. Like really, really proud. "Yes, this is Burl. He is MY SON!" Not in a competitive my-kid-is-better-than-yours. Not in the least. I'm proud of all my friends kids too.
As I sorted Burl's pictures for his one-year-album, I realized that this past year was full of fun. We have had a great time with him. We have made some great memories. Even though it has gone by fast, I feel like we've made the most of this past year!
