There is so much cool stuff going on out there in the blog land! Everything I see I think, "This is awesome! Everyone should know about this!"
Here is a collection of things that I think everyone should know about:
1. Some blogs talk about one subject. Decorating, family, travel, etc. That's they way to do the whole blog thing, apparently, but that's not me. Know who it is? It's The Nester. She writes a blog about decorating and I never knew there was so much to talk about.
Instead of decorator rules to follow, she writes in a way that sets us free to have fun in our homes. She wrote a whole post on how to edit our rooms, which talks about what to do with all that junk. {All that junk inside our trunk.} Or just sitting out, waiting to be dusted. Gotta read it!!!
2. When decorating our homes, sometimes we wish that we could get rid of everything and start new. Someone did that. In like 2 weeks or something. Karen sold all of her stuff, painted her house white, and went from this:
To this:
Holla!!! Read more about the awesome transformation HERE.
3. A childhood friend, Hadley, hooked us up with kitchen tips from a master.
50 tips to be exact. From Barefoot Contessa herself. Go to Hadley's blog to read the article and drool over the pictures. It's great!
4a. Did you know that this week was flower week? Why waste money on flowers that are going to die in a week?!? Why not make your own that last forever.
